A summary of what's new or different in the latest version
V12 left data protection liability uncapped for both sides. V13 caps it at twice the charges paid in the preceding twelve months — worst-case breach exposure becomes a known number.
One fixed twelve-month term becomes Monthly and Annual plans, with matching notice periods. Late notice no longer vanishes — it carries the customer into the next term instead.
V12 never specified when the contract actually formed. V13 fixes this at the moment card details are entered and the box is ticked, setting the Effective Date — version disputes close.
The 70% floor no longer waits for bad faith or missed notice. It now runs every month of every annual term, measured against the customer's highest billing month.
Thirty days after term end to pull data, delete Claimants and unsubscribe. Miss it and billing continues — the reversal window and reinstatement fee are gone entirely.
The fifteen-day free trial goes. One day to look around, then a paid limited-user subscription to evaluate. A separate fifteen-day preview covers higher-tier features.
