Solo Expenses’ App of the month: June 2015 – Evernote

Evernote is the perfect app for people who work on multiple projects at once, especially if you’re constantly on the move. You can manage to-do lists, reminders, voice memos, notes, photos, emails and web pages, categorising them into ‘notebooks’ – so it’s easy to keep project information organised.

Particularly useful features (which make it better than standard productivity and organiser apps) are:

  • You can forward emails to the app – Evernote gives you a personal email address, and every time you want to add an email to a notebook you simply send it to that address
  • It syncs across your mobile devices, computer and the web, so you can access your information from anywhere
  • You can save web pages to the app – it integrates with most mobile web browsers so it’s easy to save information you find online
  • You can share information – there’s a chat functionality that makes it easy to collaborate

The basic version of Evernote is free. You can upgrade to paid versions depending on how much storage space and collaboration functionality you need.
